The Power Squat Machine provides a great overall lower body workout. The Power Squat develops strength, explosiveness and endurance in the hips, thighs, hamstrings and calf muscles.

The Power Squat which provides functional isokinetic resistance is intended to be secured to the floor so the athlete can explode off the machine upward through the movement, which allows the user to receive maximum resistance throughout the full range of motion.

Hydra-Gym’s functional isokinetic resistance does not rely upon gravity for its resistance but upon our patented hydraulic cylinders, therefore we minimize the effects of inertia, which requires more work from the user throughout the range of motion, as well as provide a safe method for specific high velocity training of the lower body muscle groups.
